The Oval

This warm and veracious menu celebrates the ingenuity of Rome’s Testaccio cuisine, born in the historic slaughterhouses. What was once scraps—considered worthless by the nobility—was transformed by workers’ families and local taverns into iconic, zero-waste dishes. Inspired by this spirit of resourcefulness and flavor, our Chef has reimagined these recipes for the winter menu, presented in 8½ bites, paying homage to Federico Fellini, legendary filmmaker and devoted pasta lover.
